Revamped and renamed, the former Newz Brasserie is capitalizing on its reputation as one of Liverpools night life hit spots. Located on fashionable Water Street, the bar, with its leather sofas, wooden tables, red lanterns, would not be out of place in the glitzier arrondissements of Paris. The bar is one of the longest in Europe, there\\\'s an entire wall is lined with champagne bottles and the cocktails are on the money. The crowd is WAG-heavy and super-groomed. Get there early on weekends before the glam set take up all the table space or, if you have the cash to spare and a need to be seen, book a VIP area.
