Funmbi's friendly, instantly likeable style won him the award for Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards. He has since gone on to win the prestigious Leicester Square New Act of the Year competition in 2012; shortly after becoming joint winner of Amused Moose's Laugh Off Competition in the same year. Gently paced stories and anecdotes are delivered warmly and confidently.
He was a finalist in the Brighton Comedy Festival Squawker award and the Laughing Horse competition.

He has performed on The John Bishop Show, and appeared on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! in November 2015,breaking down the day's action from I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! alongside Joe Swash.

Joe is also a rapper and sometimes includes rap singing in his set.

Jack is probably the only stand up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese, What a waste lol. After working his way around the stand up and sketch circuits, performing at nights for CKP, Knock 2 Bag, The Invisible Dot and the BBC Comedy Tent in Edinburgh, Jack then went on to support James Acaster on the UK tours of Edinburgh Award-nominated shows Prompt (2012), Lawnmower (2013), and Recognise (2014). He can also be seen on James Acaster's web series Sweet Home Lahnsteineringa. 

Jack first appeared at the Edinburgh Festival as part of critically acclaimed student sketch group Leeds Tealights, named Best Student Sketch Group in 2010. Since then he has performed as part of the Pleasance Comedy Reserve and in double-header Your New Mild Friends. In 2014, Jack performed in the prestigious Comedy Zone. He returned to Edinburgh in 2015 with his debut hour "This Title Came to Me in a Dream", described as "a strong debut hour of stand-up and enormous potential" (Broadway Baby). He followed this show with his critically acclaimed 2016 Edinburgh show "You Don't Know Jack".

Along with being a solo act, Jack writes and performs as one half of the acclaimed sketch duo Twins, as seen on ITV2's @elevenish. Twins' second Edinburgh Fringe show Pret A Comedy was produced in association with Hat Trick Productions in 2015. It has been described as "ridiculously funny… and genuinely impressive" (Edinburgh Reporter - ****) and was selected as one of James Acaster's Top Picks of the Fringe 2015 for The Guardian.
