GoldDust was formed early in 2008 by Dom Reid and Joe Nixon - two guys on the East Midland's party scene with plenty of experience. GoldDust is unlike any of your typical club nights...loads of extra effort is applied to create parties with dramatic alternating decor, glamorous costumes, erotic cages, sexy GoldDust dancers, phenomenal DJs and live music all resulting in a unique party atmosphere. "We were tired of the same old, same old nights so we've set out to create a series of intimate, exclusive one-off parties set in the most lavish and fun surroundings. Dom's background on the party scene is legendary. This includes playing percussion (with a particular passion for the Bongos) at nights like BUMP and The Wy bar parties, plus his involvement with classic top house nights. Dom has been responsible for creating some of the most spectacular events for stylish club nights all over the world and his relationship with the best local DJ talent and expert sound system engineers has resulted in some memorable campaigns. Joe's company, Arch Creative, has been responsible for the design and branding of many successful club nights over the past few years. This all kicked off by designing the logo for Helsinki back in 2000. Photoshoots for Miss Moneypennys followed, and then he designed the illustrations and flyers for KO-KO at Po Na Na which won the Barvest award for the best promoted UK Club night. Since then Joe's been involved with many other nights including Ministry of Sound, Boudica, Speekafreeka at The Emporium and more recently Super Disco at ISU. Thousands of flyers, posters and invitations later, Dom and Joe decided to pool their talents to create a brand of their own - GoldDust.
