Coming from Jamaican parents Young Lion was automatically born into reggae, has been listening to Reggae Dancehall all his life, which is the music he was brought up on. He`s been a selector and radio disc jockey from the age of 9yrs (started on pirate stations). He`s manager and one of the founding members of the Blackshadow crew, which is the top dancehall dance crew in the South West of England. Young Lion has shown his versatility through the years by taking 2years out and Djing Jungle, Hip Hop and RnB between 1992-94. As well as regularly playing on the dancehall circuit (clubs and radio), he also ran a specialist Dancehall Aerobics class for a year, but had to discontinue due to his busy schedule.
