The Manc Lads. Britain's premier tribute to prankster punk provocateurs The MACC lads. Hailing from Manchester (hence the name.) The Manc Lads are three beer swilling kebab munching louts. Ecky on Bass & vocals, Bogi on guitar & vocals and Brucie on Drums. The lads have had the pleasure of having Stez Styx ( Macc Lads drummer) joining them on stage at several gigs across the country. Thirty years later and a Sitwell crowd is ready to bring it back with tribute band the Manc Lads. God's Gift starts the poetry , then a loud shout of "Sheepshaggers!" introduces NoSheep til Buxton (about Mutton daggers and rodding rams) followed by the cracking rip of Sweet's Blockbuster ("500lb, Very round. Has anyone seen him eat? He's never seen his feet") - Fat Bastard! And on it went, recalling almost 30 bawdy anthems such as Alton Towers, Barrel's Round, Miss Macclesfield, Eh Up We're the Macc Lads, loads, loads more.
