DIE DAS DER present DESPERATE JOURNALIST & others - Christmas Show

DIE DAS DER are delighted to be bringing DESPERATE JOURNALIST back up to Birmingham again following their sold out show at the Sunflower Lounge back in April. It's been a big year for the London-homed four-piece, after the release of their second album 'Grow Up' on Fierce Panda and gigs throughout Europe.

We've put together a mammoth bill in support as we ramp up the Christmas celebrations, featuring:

GHOSTS OF DEAD AIRPLANES - well, it had to be really didn't it? 2017 has seen the release of their latest EP 'Delaware' - representing the fine-honing of their three-piece formation, with what is quite probably their best material yet.

PET CROW - this Derby-based quartet blew us away with their debut album 'A Simple Guide to Small and Medium Pond Life' earlier this year, and followed it up with a storming 7" released as part of the Too Pure Singles Club. We're ecstatic to be bringing them down to Brum for this bill.

UNQUALIFIED NURSE BAND - whatever they are putting in the water in Derby is working. This bunch have just released their second album, 'Trashland', and it is a work of rareified delight. They also released a Too Pure 7" this year - and are destined for even greater things in the coming year.

NOVA - great to have these guys back after their beguiled us with their performance at Yr Welcome Lite.

RICHARD BURKE - the Starries front-man needs little introduction. (But he also released a new solo album this year).

due to the sheer quantity of quality on display this gig will be an early start!
