۞ Celebrating African Culture ۞

AFRO FEST is a large celebration of African music, sport, arts and culture which will take place in Birmingham UK. On the day we aim to expose and support young African talent and will showcase, among other things, team work, time management, respect, social responsibility and try to develop a work ethic all within a safe and FUN Family environment.

With too many negative representations of Africa entrenched in images of war, disease, poverty and famine, AFRO FEST seeks to redress the balance and highlight the fantastic range of cultures ,music, foods, tourism and trade opportunities that make this great continent one of the most vibrant and inspiring in the world.

The festival is also a truly international event that harnesses the spirit of multiculturalism and tolerance. It will play host to artists from nations right across Africa and also programmes music from South America and The Caribbean with Salsa, Soca and Reggae always a popular addition to the festivities.

But AFRO FEST is about more than music. African dance and theatre groups , cultural exhibitions, Tourism and trade opportunities, African cuisine, face painting, BBQ, Crazy mini Golf / Putt Putt as many know it , Bouncing castles , Pre-Season football, arts and crafts and fashion from Africa and beyond will again be present at the AFRO FEST.
