Vacant Minds Promotions started in 2008 when a group of friends wanted there to be a wider range of friendly, innovative and most of all nutty parties for you rave fiends of Brum to benefit from. After months of discussion, and with ideas thrown around like Kerry Katona’s weight, Vacant Minds was born with their first party Concrete Underground. With it being the first event they hoped to get a small, chilled, intimate crowd to get a little skank on. It was going to be a solitary event. It was going to never grow, never flourish. It was going to be the start and the end. Heck, were they wrong. Concrete Underground was an incredible to be part of. For one night Concrete exploded, the capacity crowd at Concrete meant that it was packed from wall to wall with party goers vibing with the bass, grinding their bodies, and drinking their way to oblivion till they eventually had to leave to nurse their bodies into taxis and reminisce about the party they had been part of, the next morning. We felt the aurora that the night left behind; long after the floors had been cleaned, and the bar wiped down, and the turntables returned to their dormant state. So we decided to make Vacant Mind Events a more common part of Birmingham’s night scenery. Things are only moving forwards and getting faster in the train that is Vacant Minds, make sure you don’t miss this train and get left behind.
