At the age of 22 I decided I wanted to pursue a musical career and felt confident in doing so given the support of my dad. I am a sufferer of Sickle Cell and undergo monthly transfusions to prevent me from having another stroke, which I originally had at the age of 13. This is one of the complications that can occur with Sickle Cell.
