When you talk of legends in techno music, only a few can really say they were there at the beginning. Along with Derrick May and Juan Atkins, Saunderson made up the "Belleville Three” who are widely credited with inventing the genre in the motor-city of Detroit. Names from Carl Cox to Sven Vath count him as inspirational in their own journey to greatness, and after last March's roadblock London Coronet show, he proved once again that his style and passion for music are as fierce as ever.
