Fronted by music impresario Mark Wilkinson, one of the most successful names in house, Kidology Records represents all aspects of good quality dance music. From on point production to uplifting vocals, infectious beats to the fabulous Kidettes – Kidology has it all.
Party wise, Kidology was once resident at legendary venue, The Cross where it first really made its mark on the London club scene. It’s since gone onto throw parties at Plan B in Brixton with its Kidology South of the river brand, and most up-to-date, it resides at the glamorous Pacha and The White House in Clapham, with bi-monthly and monthly residencies respectively.
What sets this party aside from the hundreds of nights out there is without question, The Kidettes – a troupe of fresh, sexy, fierce and fun individuals. Born out of necessity, the Kidettes came alive to bring some sparkle back into clubland. They were inspired by the outrageousness of clubs and discos in the 1980’s and 1990’s and help to re-create that long-lost flamboyant atmosphere when going out clubbing was a special occasion.
2008 has been a huge touring year for Kidology where it has hit The Honey Club in Brighton, Zinc in Southend, Karbon in Glasgow, and now it’s heading off to Ibiza for a monthly residency at Hotel Es Vive and weekly slot at El Divino.
