TheTicketSellers.co.uk is a profitable and growing company operating throughout the UK in a variety of markets: mainly festivals, clubs and sports.

We are looking for someone to join our team as an Operations Assistant, to help run day-to-day operations effectively and efficiently.

Applicants must have a can-do attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to not only meet goals and targets, but to exceed expectations and illustrate real enthusiasm. You will need to be able to work quickly and accurately within a busy team environment and have a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Good IT and excellent written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must.

You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, within an organisation that strongly encourages personal development.

Main Duties:
  • Answering incoming calls and emails from customers and clients
  • Taking orders over the phone
  • Resolving challenging queries and complaints in a professional and coherent manner, so that the customer/client is left satisfied with minimal disruption to the company
  • Build and maintain effective and ongoing relationships with customers and clients
  • Outgoing calls to confirm event bookings and venues
  • Dealing with event cancellations, refunds and administration
  • Follow procedures and guidelines in line with the company so that service standards are met
  • Maintain and develop own knowledge and expertise
  • Design, printing and sending physical tickets to clients
  • Postal orders
  • Designing e-newsletters
  • Processing invoices and payments

Essential Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner adhering to the company's policies and terms and conditions
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and make appropriate decisions
  • Able to work as part of a team but use own initiative when required
  • Have a basic understanding of Excel and WordPress
  • Are diligent, organised and an eye for detail
  • Be willing to work occasional unsociable hours when entry system support is needed
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's grades A-C or equivalent

Desirable Requirements:
  • Have a basic understanding of accounts, weekly profit and loss and invoicing
  • Have a basic understanding of Google Drive, Bartender, E-commerce, SEO, Sagepay
  • Experience of working in an administration role
