Description

Noreen Khan hosts a night of comedy with some of the UKs favourite female acts.

** Sukh Ojla **
Sukh Kaur Ojla is a UK based actress, writer, comedian and professional daydreamer. Sukh has appeared in a number of theatre productions as well as TV appearances such as Victoria and Abdul, Black Mirror & EastEnders. Sukh is one of the names to watch out for on the comedy circuit. Having played from small rooms she was recently selected for the BBC Asian Network Live event - her observation about the disadvantages of having to move back in with her parents, including not being allowed to ever turn over from the Sikh channel featured as one of the funniest moments of the night!

** Emily Lloyd-Saini **

Emily Lloyd-Saini is a Nottingham born stand up comedian, writer and actor, based in London. Emily trained at the Oxford school of Drama, graduating in 2010. In 2011 she made it to the finals of the Funny Women stand up competition and now, between acting jobs, she regularly performs at and MC's stand-up comedy nights across London. She was a quarter finalist in the 'BBC New Comedy Awards' in 2011 and a member of improv group, 'Battleacts'. Emily's first hour long stand up show 'Is This Part of The Show?' debuted at Edinburgh Fringe 2016, as did her first sketch show 'Static' as double act EGG. Both shows were nominated and shortlisted for the 'Funny Women Best Female Show Award'.

** Shazia Mirza **

Shazia Mirza is an award winning British stand up comedian and writer.

But what do awards mean anyway? Everyone's got an award. You get awards these days just for leaving the house and recycling your yogurt pots.

Shazia's recent TV appearances include The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), Graham Norton (BBC), Loose Women (ITV), The Late Late Show (RTE), Top Gear (BBC), and is a regular panelist on The Wright Stuff (Channel 5), The Frank Skinner Show (Absolute Radio)  & 'Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

Her latest stand up show, 'The Kardashians Made Me Do It' was critically acclaimed all over the UK, US, Sweden, Ireland, and Paris, and completed four sell out runs at London's Soho Theatre, and 103 tour dates internationally.

Her parents just want her to get married.
