Description

Focus on Jazz finish 2017 with another special event; an evening of top quality soulful music with the incredible Vocalist Kele le Roc in her first-ever performance at the Bear Club, Luton on Friday 24th November 2017.  In true Focus on Jazz style, we are teaming Kele up with the Peter Honegan Band in a one-off collaboration which is exclusive to our promotions at the Bear Club.

Many fans will of course know Kele for her album "Ms Le Roc" which included 2 top 10 singles and won her a host of accolades, including 2 Mobo Awards for best single "My Love" and Best Newcomer. Named Le Roc for her funky, edgy Vocals and effortlessly soulful and bluesy voice.

Kele has worked with anyone who's anyone on the international Funk, Jazz and Soul scene. In addition, she has made a name for herself as a Dancer, TV Presenter, Clothes and Jewellery Designer and has recently been touring and recording with Basement Jaxx, Roger Sanchez and Gorgon City.

Our support on the night will come courtesy of the one and only Zola Marcelle who has been described as the fresh sound music lovers have been waiting for. Likened to Lauryn Hill and Laura Mvula, Zola will be showcasing her newly released EP, 'A Peaceful War'.

Of course, The evening would not be complete without Starpoint FM DJ Paul Goldsmith who will once again play the best music from Soul to Jazz, and our Host, The Real Reminisce - Lee Drummond.
