Born in the heart of Birmingham City in the mid 60's, Marcusbee was part of the R&B and Soul scene. With a fascination of music, Marc was surrounded by family in the industry. Spending hours in records shops in Birmingham and London hunting white label releases, Marcus dabbled and became proficient in Vinyl before settling into a more varied playing style. Entertaining and interacting listeners being his forte, Marcusbee can be heard presenting his own R&B radio shows on Birmingham's Newstyle Radio and Starpoint Radio as well as DJing nationally in the UK and abroad. Marcus has an edge and style emulated by no other. Taking true music lovers on a melodic journey, Marcus has played at many club nights and weekenders that include, Soul Boutique, Old Skool Throwback, Quincy's, The Loft and Glovers, Reminisce, Essence, Soul Society, Urban Rewind, Soul Steppers, resident DJ at Finesse VIP Events, House of Soul, Soul Nostalgia, VyBe weekender, Scottish Soul weekender, Luxury Soul weekender, Bolsoul 3 Croatia. Marcus is best known for his seamless mixing style, he as an ear for 'BPM' that holds the dance floor. " I started my DJ passion by accident really, when my cousin left me working the decks in an emergency. I just knew I could not miss a beat in-between tracks - I was just 14!" His ability to manipulate your heart rate with his engineered sets is renowned.
