Mabowunje (Mah-boon-jeh) Harrison is a cross platform artist with singing at the forefront. She specialises in Jazz, Soul and Gospel which perfectly complement her rich, powerful voice. Her musical influences are varied but she hails Luther Vandross, Frankie Beverley and Fela Kuti as her main musical influences. Originally from London, Mabowunje now resides in Birmingham and has been performing since childhood. A singer, actor, writer and dancer, she only began taking her music career seriously in 2012 and now records and performs regularly around the West Midlands and beyond. Recent appearances include Mostly Jazz Festival, Wednesday Night Mic Fever at the Mango Lounge and Symphony Hall Birmingham.
