www.marcreck.com - Explosive dj sets, groundbreaking Birmingham events, and innovative collaborations are three things that have become synonymous with Dj Marc Reck. Though most known for his floor filling breakbeat sets, Marc’s performances for Project X Presents, Custom Made, and the Birmingham Opera Company, have seen his djing now take on a more multi genre approach. With gigs supporting live acts like The Destroyers, Transglobal Underground, & Mama Matrix, and djs such as Giles Peterson, the Freestylers, & Utah Saints, his sound has become a real musical journey, and his Mr Elephant radio shows continue to push his unique sound to much wider audiences.

Marc currently has 6 residencies, and co-promotes two successful events in his home town of Birmingham. He was voted Local Dj of the Year in the recent Night Times awards in december 2008, and the Mr Elephant events were voted runner up as best small promotions.

The Project X Presents events continue to inspire and evolve, and alongside his work with various dancers, performers, vjs, and musicians both in and out of the studio, Marc is now armed with a four dex & efx traktor scratch setup, and his entire music collection, and with 3 music commissions in 2008, 2009 promises to see new exciting horizons for the Birmingham bred lad.
