Hailing from London’s east end, Zinc first became involved in the dance music world via pirate radio, which led to the meeting of like minded DJs and producers at the birth of jungle â€" an exhilarating clash of breakbeats, basslines and samples that defined a generation of UK clubbing. He went on to produce some of the scene’s biggest anthems, most notably ‘Super Sharp Shooter’ and the remix of the Fugees’ ‘Ready Or Not’ â€" both of which still devastate dance floors to this day. Although every artist welcomes mainstream success it’s the dancefloor response that Zinc thrives on and that’s why Zinc continues to be at the top of his game across any music he creates. Keeping his ear to grass roots rave culture with his residency on London’s leading underground station Rinse FM, Zinc has absorbed rave culture into his DNA and long mastered the art of making you move.
