Having been chosen to present BBC 1Xtra’s specialist slot ‘The BBC Radio 1Xtra RnB Show’ since the station’s launch in 2002, Ronnie has been a dedicated representative of the station for the past 9 years. He also hosts a monthly slot on BBC Radio 1 ‘The BBC Radio 1Xtra Showcase on BBC Radio 1’. From starting out in his teen years working at a Soho record store, the RnB maestro has worked his way up to become a highly successful broadcaster as well as a UK and international club DJ. Ronnie is truly enjoying his mix of urban music to the masses and is one of the UK’s most listened to DJs via the BBC Radio 1xtra and Radio 1 websites. Ronnie’s c.v of studio guests includes international legends such as Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. Not forgetting those just starting out in their music careers, Ronnie also focuses on championing new talent and enabling them the opportunity to receive a greater audience.
